The primary element that is missing for most people when it comes to activating the energy in the body is high quality nutrition. We’re talking about nutrition that makes you want to exercise. It makes your body feel so strong and energized that you have to get moving in order to burn some of that energy. Does your food do that? We have found that most “food” really does not energize the body. Sure, it provides fuel that we burn in the form of calories, but does it really get you motivated to run, bike, swim, hike, do yoga, or just get up off the couch?

It was February 2nd, 2013 and one of the four lead actors in our stage production of “A Tiny Piece of Land” was out sick with the flu. We had only three more days to rehearse before going live and one-fourth of the cast was missing, along with our stage manager, who was also out sick. The rest of the cast and crew did all we could to stay healthy,while it seemed that everywhere around us friends and family members were coming down with seasonal colds and flu symptoms.
In addition, five minutes into one of the performances, some bread that I ate in a scene got caught in the wrong windpipe and I began to choke. When I finally tried to speak, only half of my voice came out. I was able to muddle through that scene......

Olga observed her 91st birthday recently and now she’s celebrating another 10 pounds of weight loss. She is proof that it's never too late to develop healthy eating habits, improve your body and live longer.
