A recently married friend came to see me this week. She was complaining about the fact every morning for the past 3 months (the duration of her married life) she has been waking up in the morning with a headache. She also told me she has gained weight (which she didn’t have to tell me!) and she said he just didn’t have any energy at work anymore. It didn’t take much investigating to find out the fact that since she has been married she has been drinking her husband’s protein powder and has not been taking her VitaShake and Fortune Delight tea, which previously was part of her daily routine. Of course she purchased both that day and one week later I received a text from her saying, “No more headaches since I’ve been back on Sunrider. Not even one. Back to my old self again! Thanks!

What do you think about being grateful and appreciative? No matterwhat you think about it, when you do it, it has huge benefits to your health. Psychologist Robert Emmons defines gratitude as “a felt sense of wonder, thankfulness, and appreciation for life.” People who have gratitude as a permanent part of their state of mind have an edge on the not-so- gratef
ul when it comes to health. Grateful people take better care of themselves and have better health habits like regular exercise, a healthy diet, and regular physical examinations.

 GRATITUDE IMPROVES PHYSICAL HEALTH

attitude of gratitude
More and more researchers are finding that gratitude doesn’t just make you feel like a better person, it’s actually good for your health. Clinical trials indicate that it can lower blood pressure, improve your immune function and help you sleep better. Speaking of heart health, a recent study from the University of California San Diego’s School of Medicine found that people who were more grateful actually had better heart health, specifically less inflammation and healthier heart rhythms.

When I think
of stress, I think of ESE. I personally take two capsules every morning with my VitaShake and I am ready to take on any stress I might have in my day with calmness.Stress can cause toxins in your body by triggering stress hormones, which create toxins and slow down detoxification enzymes in the liver. CALLI TEA can help the body flush toxins. It is important to cleanse your body daily because of the toxins that not only come from stress but also from food and a busy daily lifestyle.

GRATITUDE INCREASES MENTAL HEALTH

2006 study published in Behavior Research and Therapy found that Vietnam war veterans who have higher levels of gratitude experienced lower rates of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. A 2003 study published in th
e Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that gratitude was a major contributor to being resilient after the terrorist attacks on September 11. Recognizing all you have to be thankful for even during the worst times of your life fosters resilience. According to a 2012 study by the University of Kentucky, grateful people were less likely to retaliate against others, even when people acted in a negative way towards them. They experienced more sensitivity and empathy toward other people and a decreased desire to take revenge.
