A Tiny Piece of Land FlyerIt was February 2nd, 2013 and one of the four lead actors in our stage production of “A Tiny Piece of Land” was out sick with the flu. We had only three more days to rehearse before going live and one-fourth of the cast was missing, along with our stage manager, who was also out sick. The rest of the cast and crew did all we could to stay healthy, while it seemed that everywhere around us friends and family members were coming down with seasonal colds and flu symptoms.

In addition, five minutes into one of the performances, some bread that I ate in a scene got caught in the wrong windpipe and I began to choke. When I finally tried to speak, only half of my voice came out. I was able to muddle through that scene. Then, at the first opportunity, I sprinkled some Sunbreeze Oil on my tongue. Fortunately, the Menthol, Eucalyptus and Camphor in Sunbreeze quickly opened up my chest, lungs, throat and sinuses so that I could breathe quite clearly.

Sunbreeze Oil and Sunbreeze BalmWe were off and running again thanks to the Sunbreeze.  That’s when I noticed that two of my cast-mates were inhaling the Sunbreeze, too. It kept our breathing passages clear, sparked mental clarity to recall lines, and gave us relaxed energy.  The actor who  played my “brother” in the play brought in a Sunbreeze Balm that he purchased over 25 years ago. The balm was still very effective and safe, even after all that time.

Our biggest fear was that all of our preparation in the weeks prior to the show would be meaningless if anyone else got sick. So, we did our best to eliminate stress, drink healthy fluids, manage a smart diet, and get plenty of rest. In the process, Cliff Smith as Yosi Ben-DavidI took responsibility for doing all that I could to assist my own immune system.

I know that a healthy defense system is the most effective way to ward off cold and flu viruses.  So, while being bombarded by the viruses all around, I gained a renewed appreciation for a few of the Sunrider supplements that helped me to not only survive, but to thrive during a potentially distressing time.

I would never say that any of our products “cure” anything, because they're “foods”, not medicines. However, I would say that these few products have worked wonderfully to help me maintain a healthy defense system during physically and mentally stressful times.

These are the supplements that saved our show:

Alpha 20CAlpha 20C – This herbal formula is specifically to nourish and fortify the T-cells, which are the heavy hitters of your defense system. You want to do all that you can to have healthy T-cells. This is an easy, convenient, quick way to feed your T-cells. Drink it as a tea or mix in smoothies.

Dr. Chen MetaBooster

MetaBooster - Dr. Chen MetaBooster contains essential amino acids to support the body's defenses. It also acts as a powerful antioxidant to help the body fight free radicals, which can damage cells. This is valuable nutrition for athletes or anyone susceptible to stress on the body. Instead of steroids, medicinal herbs or chemicals, energize naturally with Dr. Chen MetaBooster. Use 3-6 capsules daily, with food.

VitaFruitVitaFruit- This is our secret weapon every winter to stay in tip top condition with super-concentrated fruit and honey.  You would need to consume a pile of oranges to equal the power of one spoonful of VitaFruit. This is an exceptional source for flavonoids, vitamins, minerals and carotenoids. Flavonoids are compounds found in fruits, vegetables, and certain beverages that show potential benefits to human health.  Studies have revealed that they possess powerful antiviral, anti-allergic, anti-platelet, anti-inflammatory, antitumor and antioxidant properties. There are 200 to 300 flavonoids in VitaFruitCarotenoids, and specifically beta-carotene, are also believed to enhance the function of the immune system.

The show was a huge success with sold out performances all weekend! The director said we even achieved the pinnacle of theatrical exellence with a "Golden Permformance" on Saturday night. What could have been a disaster turned into a triumphant celebration thanks to a little help from our friends.
