Woman Sneezing from AllergiesBy Cliff Smith

For over 58 million people in North America, Spring means blooming flowers, grasses, trees and the seasonal allergies that go along with them. As everything begins to bloom, pollen is released into the air and it's time for seasonal allergic rhinitis, more commonly known as hay fever.  Although, it doesn't come from hay and it is not a fever, it is an allergic reaction to all that pollen.

Here's how seasonal allergies are described at WebMD's Allergies Health Center:

  • "When pollen grains get into the nose of someone who's allergic, they send the immune system into overdrive.  The immune system, mistakenly seeing the pollen as foreign invaders, releases antibodies -- substances that normally identify and attack bacteria, viruses, and other illness-causing organisms. The antibodies attack the allergens, which leads to the release of chemicals called histamines into the blood. Histamines trigger the runny nose, itchy eyes, and other symptoms of allergies."

3 Ways to Breeze Through Allergy Season

Alpha 20 C for the immune system

1. Maintain a Healthy Immune System - Eat properly, exercise moderately, get plenty of rest and AVOID SUGAR!  Sugar has been shown to suppress the immune system.  Nourish your immune system with Alpha 20C and Chinese Goldenseal Root.

2.  Consume Probiotics. These are healthy bacteria created in the digestive tract which help decrease the number of "bad" bacteria in Vitadophilus probioticyour VitaDophilus gut that can cause infections or inflammation.  Some studies have revealed how probiotics may reduce allergy symptoms such as runny nose and congestion. You can get some probiotics naturally from foods like yogurt, or in greater concentration from probiotic supplements, like VitaDophilus.

Sunbreeze Oil and Balm3. Use SunBreeze Oil or Sunbreeze Balm.  Sunbreeze is not a cure for allergies, but it sure is nice to have around when pollen season is in full bloom.  Just put a small amount on your palm, rub your hands together and inhale for an eye-opening experience!  Read about how the high school track champions in the new Kevin Costner movie, McFarland USA, used Sunbreeze to enhance their performance.

"I first heard about Sunbreeze from a co-worker 10 years ago.  I keep one at work and one at the house.  I have introduced it to co-workers. It CLEARS you right up.  The best part is it's all natural, and it only takes a TINY bit then you're good to go!  I just love it!" -D. Craig/Houston, TX

"I have used the Sunbreeze Oil for many years.  I find it lasts a long time.  I found that if I apply the oil above my eyes and by my sinus area I feel wonderful in a short time.  You feel a wonderful warm sense on the area.  This product has helped improve my life."

"I try to avoid OTC medicine.  I believe that preventative care, nutrition & exercise should provide what's needed for health. I use Sunbreeze oil frequently".
