I’m trying to lose the last 10 pounds. What are your suggestions?
Reuben: Losing those last few unwanted pounds can be difficult because the body more easily releases fat in the beginning stages of weight loss (especially if you had a lot to lose) and your body gets used to your exercise routine. If you’re already doing the Fitness Brigade™ workouts, I suggest upping the intensity level (which ranges from 1–6), make sure you’re doing the unmodified versions of the exercises, and increase your pace. If you’re not doing the Fitness Brigade yet, then what are you waiting for? This program has progressive workouts to suit your current fitness level and are easily modified to continue challenging you on your fitness journey. It’s also important to make sure you’re eating healthy. Exercising daily while continuing to eat fast food and junk food won’t help you lose those last 10 pounds. Remember to keep your fitness journal as well. This will help you track your progress and see where you may be slipping in your workouts.
My doctor says I need to lose weight, but I’ve never really exercised much. Can I do Fitness Brigade?
Reuben: Yes, anyone can do the Fitness Brigade™ workouts. This program was designed so that workouts and exercises can be easily adjusted to suit the needs of the user. Plus, this program features timed sets so you can go at your own pace. If something feels too fast or hard, simply go slower until it feels right to you. It doesn’t matter your age, fitness level, or athletic ability, this program can be adjusted to help you reach your goals. That said, if you have any health concerns, you should discuss these with your physician before beginning the program.
