1.  Find a physical exercise that you enjoy.  There is no better way to stick with an exercise
Cliff Smith Mountain Bikingroutine than finding something that makes you look forward to it every day.  For me, that was mountain biking.  When I discovered this wonderful way to stay fit, I was a former smoker with arthritic problems who could barely run a half-mile.  That was 20 years ago.  Now, at age 52, I still love mountain biking so much that I look forward to the next ride every day.  It also motivates me to stay healthy so that I can ride farther, faster, longer.  Once you find something that makes you breathe heavy, gets the blood flowing and the heart pumping, with a smile on our face, then make that your life’s mission and you will reach new heights of physical fitness.

Evergreen2.    Eat more vegetables.  Many people get this concept, but fail to follow through.  Diehard carnivores can make a pleasant transition to more veggies by minimizing meat portions to the size of a deck of cards.
