Richard Oliner Sunrider AthleteWe sure do enjoy seeing so many success stories from people who have been using Sunrider products for so long.  This one, from 65 year old, Richard Oliner of Boca Raton, Florida is truly inspiring for several reasons.

The fact that Richard has been using Sunrider products for over 25 years reveals how devoted people are to these unique herbal supplements and health foods.  His athletic achievements are impressive, even as he gets older.  The benefits that he feels in his own body are priceless, and the way he leads by example is truly noteworthy.

It’s gratifying and reassuring for us to know that so many others have experienced the rewards that we have with Sunrider health drinks and alkaline foods.  We feel the products working right away and see how they improve our health with consistent use year after year.  The Sunrider products work better and better the longer you use them as the body becomes perfectly balanced.

We especially like Richard’s challenge to “...anyone who would say the Sunrider products don’t do what we say they will.  They nourish and feed the body with the nutrients from concentrated whole foods so the body can build and maintain itself."  Read Richard’s story and then get one of our Trial Packs to gain an edge for yourself in any activity you choose.

Sunrider Sport Success Story
Richard Oliner/Boca Raton, Florida

I got involved with Sunrider almost 25-years ago when my wife Marlene decided we should start eating, and being healthier. Like most men, I didn’t think there was anything wrong with my health.  Shortly after beginning my Sunrider journey, I was playing racquetball with a friend and noticed he was huffing and puffing, but I was just as fresh as when we started. My game was getting faster and my stamina and recovery were improving. That was when I was a brisk 40-years-old. I had a Nuplus shake before I played and drank Fortune Delight during the game.

In 1990, we moved to South Florida and a fellow Sunrider asked me to do a two-day 150-mile bicycle tour with her and a friend to raise money for charity. The ride was broken up into 75-miles-per-day. The first day took nine and a half hours. The return trip took nine because we had the wind at our backs. I did the ride for the next nine years and by the ninth year I had cut my time down to four-and-a-half-hours down and about four-ten back. I found I didn’t have to stop at every rest stop and when I did it was only to fill my “water” bottle so I could make more Fortune Delight. I ate Sunbars along the way and by the time my bottle was full and shaken I had recovered from the ride so far and my energy was back to full.  There is a bridge that we had to ride over, both ways of course, that has an elevation of 70 feet (approximately the height of riding over a seven-story-building). I found it interesting that more experienced and more highly trained riders were cramping up as they climbed the bridge. I never got a muscle cramp. I did, however, sell a lot of Sunbreeze.

About five years ago, I was challenged to a tennis match by a 16-year-old boy who played on his high school tennis team. He had just finished a one-hour lesson and I had just finished a two-hour doubles match. His coach told him he could beat me hands down. The first set I lost 6-3. The second game I lost 6-4. I was getting better, so I challenged him to a third game.  After a battle of ad-deuce for every game, he was ahead 5-3. Then it was 5-4, then 5-5, and the tables had turned.  I was drinking what we call our sport drink, Fortune Delight, Electropsort, Evergreen and Sunnydew. I then pulled ahead to 6-5. It was his serve and once again the game went back and forth-ad-deuce, ad-deuce. If I broke his serve we could all go home. The young totally exhausted opponent fell. He graciously shook my hand and, as he gasped for air, asked if he could get some of that stuff I was drinking.

Now, at a young 65 years of age, I continue to play tennis and still ride. My tennis partners are all younger than I am, but none have the stamina I have nor do they recover as quickly. Before any sporting event, lawn work, or other strenuous physical activity, I nourish my body with what I call a full Sunrider shake. I start with Fortune Delight and orange juice as my base liquid. I add frozen strawberries, blueberries, and frozen bananas. Next comes NuPlus (1 packet), VitaShake (1 packet), Quinary (3 packets), Alpha 20C (1 packet), and a squirt of Sunnydew. I have been drinking this shake, along with my other Sunrider supplements, every day for the past 25 years. I challenge anyone who would say the Sunrider products don’t do what we say they will. They nourish and feed the body with the nutrients from concentrated whole foods so the body can build and maintain itself.
